Upgrade 5.10 to 6 not working

Hello, 

We are testing upgrade of 5.10 to 6 and are running into this issue, but when we check there is nothing running on 8080.

Error starting ApplicationContext. To display the conditions report re-run your application with 'debug' enabled.

it should have the process runs on port 8080. What is Os you are running?

If Linux : check command sudo lsof -i -P -n

If Windows: check this article https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/28609/how-can-i-tell-what-is-listening-on-a-tcpip-port-in-windows/

Hi, I encounter same issue on Mac.

Description:

Web server failed to start. Port 8080 was already in use.

I have done port scan and I am sure the 8080 is not occupied.

I then change the conf/application.properties from 8080 to 8082 but it gives me same error.

Any help?

could you give me the error log in %mycollab_home%/logs. But you should upgrade to the MyCollab 7.0.3 for the new features and bug fixes

I am using the 7.0.3 . I host the mysql server in Docker. I put following things on the configuration page and "check connection" is OK. When I try to set up. The terminal will give me 8080 was already in use error.

It says so because the web port default is 8080. If you are sure there is no process run on the port 8080, could you type the command 'lsof -n -i4TCP:8080' to recheck or restart the machine again. There is maybe some process running that prevent the app run.

If i run ps aux | grep 8080  it looks like a lot of things are using 8080

Hi Nguyen, 

Sorry for late reply and your quick reply. I was too busy last weekend. I got it on Sunday. The problem is that for the server address, I put 192.168.1.70. Actually for I host it on localhost, I should put 172.0.0.1. I am new to this network system.
