MyCollab installation will write the conf setting files into the folder %MYCOLLAB_HOME%/conf, so you should make sure the current process owner has the write permission on this folder.

I have given write permission to the mycollab folder as you suggested but still facing the same error.kindly help me.

Could you send me the console log. as well as the screenshot of file permission on your Linux box? Thank you

I have downloaded the MyCollab-Generic and followed the steps given in the link https://community.mycollab.com/install-on-unixlinux/ and after clicking the setup button in the setup assistant page it displays an error "cannot write settings to the server 192.168.1.145 please contact our knowledge base" .I have given write permission to the folder but still the problem persists

Could you add my skype id is 'esofthead' and I will help you figure out the issue.
