It seems you are using the auto-upgrade process? And it is problem when upgrade to the new version?
Is it the first time you install MyCollab?
This use case usually happens when you install the MyCollab before, change the root user/password then later you install the new MyCollab version in the different folder. MyCollab only upgrades the database and maintain the current user list. So after install success, it asks to use the username admin@mycollab.com/admin123 but actually the root user is changed before. To be sure, you recreate the MyCollab database and run MyCollab installer again and tell me whether the issue is still happens.

It seems your projects did not import the library validation-api yet. It is not the issue of MyCollab because it is added to Maven pom files already but I guess the issue belongs to the IDE while it downloads remote libraries from Maven repositories, and it can not download the libraries successfully.
There are several ways to fix this issue. I guess the quick one is checking whether the validation-api has existed yet in Maven repository
If the library is broken, you should delete the jar file, then re-import Maven project
It should works

Hi Francisco,
If the email box is not active, you can temporarily use a 'fake' email address to user, and copy the invitation message to your member instead of waiting MyCollab to send the invitation message via email. This case only happens if you do not configure the SMTP yet.
Regarding instant edit is not visible, we just configure the tooltip position to make it more visual to the users. Thank you for your message :)

Hi,
MyCollab does not use the clear abstract layer that is transparent with any database vendor but we use the pure SQL statements to keep the application's performance is great. There are several statements need to be rewritten for database vendors such as MSSQL or Oracle though the effort should not be much since we do not use any store procedure but only pure SQL. In the near future, we may wish to support PostgreSQL or HSQL (embedded mode) but not others due to our limited efforts. If you want to use MyCollab with MSSQL or Oracle, you can sponsor to our development effort by submitting a case at https://www.mycollab.com/contact or try to install MySQL for the most economic solution :).
